One scholarship of $500 is awarded to a graduating senior member of
the baseball team and an additional $500 scholarship is awarded to a
graduating senior member of the softball team both of Camp Point Central
High School.
Purpose:
•
To encourage participation in organized baseball and softball.
•
To provide financial assistance to college or
university-bound students.
•
To encourage baseball and softball players in the Central school
district to pursue further education.
•
To recognize academic and leadership talent
Applicant Requirements:
Graduating high school senior baseball players and softball players who
wish to apply for the Roy Dean Perry Scholarships must submit a completed
application to their high school guidance counselor by May 1st. A minimum
ACT score of 21 or SAT score of 990 is required to be eligible for the
scholarship. The students high school transcript and two letters of
recommendation must accompany the application. Applicant must reside
within the bounds of C.U.S.D. #3 of Adams County as defined in 2011.
